“The course is absolutely beautiful and is in great shape.”

“Timber Trace Golf Club in Pinckney has been recognized as Livingston County’s premier championship layout. Set amongst pines and hardwoods, with rolling fairways and superb conditioning, this course provides an “up north” feel…Timber Trace is an incredibly fun round of golf. You will not get beat up by tight fairways and a myriad of hazards. At 7020 yards from the tips, avid golfers will be amply challenged…With incredibly reasonable green fees all week long, this is one of the best values in Michigan. Highly recommended.”

“Timber Trace is extremely playable for any skill level and low-handicappers can get in the red if their short-iron game is on. There are five sets of tees and you can see about everything from tee to green on every hole…Consistency is what makes Timber Trace. In terms of layout, service, quality and conditioning, there’s no weak point.”

“Timber Trace Golf Club, Total Golf Inc.’s newest endeavor, represents grand golf at its best. In an era when many new courses seem to be squashed into every inch of available space, Timber Trace provides golf on a broad and lavish scale. Wide, wide fairways, tall trees and a mile-long ride lakeview ride through mature woods are among its hallmarks…With its towering red pines lining many of the fairways, Timber Trace has a mature, northern feel about it. Unique about its design is the one-mile ride to a loop where holes 13 through 16 are situated. To complete the round requires a return ride on the same scenic path, back to 17 and 18.”

“One of my favorite courses. Very challenging from the tips, making most of the par 5′s 3 shot holes and allowing some mid irons into some of the par 4′s. Very good condition for being so last_minute_golferearly in the season. Great course to play early in the morning as it seems to never be too crowded during weekdays. Staff are always courteous and helpful. A great overall value and golf experience.”

“Played the course 9/21/07 for $25 (excellent deal). The course is absolutely beautiful and is in great shape. This course is tough where it has to be and forgiving on most miss-hits. Even though travel distance from my home in Warren to Pickney is farther than I normally venture, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Greens were fast and challenging. A great day of golf thanks to the staff at Timber Trace. This one course you MUST play.”
